Top hint for this course

We're about to give you a tip for the loop. On the 4th, this par-3 often scares people off with its four large bunkers guarding the green. But don't layup. Go straight for the green from tee off for the best chance at a birdie or par. Choose your club wisely.

Full Course Lowdown

A championship course and certainly one of the best in the Middle East, the golfing world became obsessed when it hosted the Dubai World Championship in 2009. Since then, it's become a mainstay in tourists' favourite golf holiday locations.

Follow in the footsteps of golf's GOATs and experience the world-class facilities and top-notch fairways that they did. You deserve it, so grab your clubs and attack the fairways with your friends.

Course

The opening hole is difficult off the back tee. Beware of the many bunkers crowding the lead-up to the green. If you navigate them successfully, a decent-sized dancefloor should be easy to approach.

The 7th is meaty par-5 that requires first carrying over water and sand. Once you're on the fairway, it's straightforward. Clear the bunkers and you're sorted.

On the 13th, an accurate and direct drive down the middle of the fairway, between the two bunkers, will land on the dancefloor. With the right accuracy, it's an awesome birdie opportunity.

The final hole is a cruel ending. The river and bunkers on the left make this one difficult hole to finish, so Greg Norman must've been feeling harsh when he built this one.

Clubhouse

A gastronomic 19th hole is just what you need after that final pin. Why not celebrate your win over the squad with a juicy duck breast, after you've had prawn cocktail for starters, that is. Afterwards, enjoy some refreshments out on the terrace.

The "Craft Fox" is a glamorous place to unwind with the gang after an intense 18 rounds, so count up your scorecards, refuel after working up a hunger, quench your thirst and pick apart the action from the loop.

The Location

The championship fairways are located 41.6km from Dubai International Airport, so you're well under an hour away from getting stuck into the action. It's an absolute breeze getting around and teeing off.

Plenty of hotels crowd the local area, so you'll have no problem finding accommodation just a stone's throw away. Similarly, restaurants, beach bars and other resorts line the seafront, so head 23.8km for all your meals out (and liquid lunches) to fuel the evenings ahead.
