Top hint for this course
The hassle of booking a group trip can be a pain. We think you deserve a little tip to get ahead of your group. On the 1st hole, it is a good move to use a long iron. This way you can kill it on the large fairway. At this point, the approach shot should be set up sweetly, but don't overhit it.
Full Course Lowdown
At La Cala's newest course, it's an excellent round for all handicap golfers to have a pop. This one is a personal favourite for all visitors because the fairways are wide, and the greens are slightly larger than the other two. It's a chance to teach your group a lesson about driving onto the dancefloor.
This championship loop's straightforward approach could allow a game of greenies on the par 3s. With this course being slightly easier than the other two, maybe some showboating is calling?
Course
While this course is renowned for being easier than the other two, it cannot be underestimated. The River Ojen lies across three of the fairways, meaning water hazards are the main obstacles preventing your perfect game.
At hole 5, you'll be presented with an uphill par-4. This shot is intimidating because of the long and sloped green and the bunkers to the right. A duff shot could make you slip up on this round.
On the 14th, we have the longest par-3 of La Cala Golf Club. With the river troubling you again, scoring a par will be something you will be complimented on back at the clubhouse.
Clubhouse
Campo Europa shares the same clubhouse as both Campo Asia and America. It's famous for its welcoming and lively atmosphere - fit for the banter and deserved drinks after hitting the course.
Top up your tan while you enjoy the many options for food and drink on offer. It's the perfect way to kickstart the day.
