Full Course Lowdown
Campo Asia is the oldest and hardest course at the La Cala Golf Club. Many pros find this round challenging with its many bunkers and pools waiting throughout.
It is by far the shortest loop on the resort, so if you have some hilarious action-packed activities to get on with, maybe you should tackle this one.
Don't be put off by the challenge, it's regarded as a premium by the pros for a reason. Give it a go and see who comes out on top. Perhaps the winner gets a beer bought for them - after all, it would be an awesome round for the champ.
Course
This course holds more water hazards than the other two at La Cala. Two pools provide obstacles on the 3rd and 14th, so be prepared to take a penalty if your ball ends up going for a swim on these holes.
Campo Asia holds four par 5 holes. Each of these is particularly lengthy, so it will test your accuracy from the drive. This certainly needs a level-headed approach and a true test of your golf IQ.
So, if your group is a part of the dawn patrol, take it easy on the drinks the night before this course (or come equipped with your best hangover cure.)
Clubhouse
All three courses at La Cala Golf Club share the same clubhouse. This often creates a buzzing 19th-hole atmosphere, fit for a group pint and some grub to line your stomach before you hit the town.
This clubhouse has a unique outdoor terrace that was renovated recently. Catch a bit of sun while getting the loser of the round to down a pint, all while tucking into the casual take on Mediterranean food on offer.

The Location
Hotel La Cala's golf club is located about 40km from Malaga Airport. Surrounding the course, many hotels are ready to welcome your group. These are all relatively close to local bars and restaurants, so travelling locally won't be an issue.
If buzzing cities are your go-to for a night out, you're going to the right place. Marbella is only 20.8km away from this area. You'll feel right at home when you're looking to take down some beers in a glitzy nightclub.
