The 8th has hidden bunkers. Favour the left of this fairway to avoid this sandy surprise and take caution on the approach--bunkers are everywhere.
Full Course Lowdown
Villamartin is a challenge of IQ and club selection for all abilities. It makes for an exciting round, with unique holes, insane views, and plenty of hazards to consider.
Can you navigate the doglegs and undulating terrain? Organise the gang, grab your clubs, and tackle this challenging loop.
Course
A tree-lined fairway opens the round on this par-5. There's a birdie chance for big hitters, so open your shoulders and cover some serious yardage.
The 6th, a par-3, features an undulated green, so putting just got harder…
At the end of the front nine is another par-3, but with water. Carry the drink and hit the green--the distance isn't long, so don't over-club.
Now for the signature hole. On the 14th, the dancefloor is protected by water, bunkers and trees. If you brought your a-game, attempt two shots. Good luck.
To finish, prepare to drive down the narrow fairway--but be warned, the clubhouse is watching. No pressure.
Avoid the bunkers, hit the green, then let your putting do the talking.

The Location
Golf Villamartin is in a prime location.
The local beachfront is only 4.7km from the course, so you're just a short taxi ride away from golden sand, beach bars, and outrageous restaurants.
Las Ramblas Golf Club is a quick 4.9km drive from the course and Lo Romero is 17.7km. Don't limit yourself to one round!
As for accommodation, the world-class La Finca Resort is only 23.5km away, and it doesn't get much better than here.
If you want something low-key, there are plenty of hotels and resorts dotted around the local area--finding somewhere to stay is an absolute breeze.
Murcia International Airport is 55km away. Yep, just hop in a taxi and you'll be at the course in under an hour. Simple.
