Top hint for this course
On the 15th, there's a par for the taking. Aim straight for the centre of the fairway from the tee, then carry over the body of water and favour the left of the green to avoid the bunkers. Now, putt!
Full Course Lowdown
Golfers hear "desert course" and their mind travels to the UAE. Enter Desert Springs. This world-famous course offers an unforgettable round with different challenges and unique playability.
Play cautiously to trump the fairways over distance, as the width is unforgiving, and the out-of-bounds are lined with cacti--a prickly situation. Grab your clubs and test the gangs' accuracy.
Course
A dogleg kickstarts the 1st, so aim for the centre-left of the fairway from the tee. Beware, the approach is awkward. With bunkers surrounding the green, a lay-up shot will help.
On the 8th, a par-3, the navigation is simple. Favour the left of the dancefloor to avoid the bunker and choose your club carefully--anything short could be frustrating.
The start of the back nine features awkwardly placed bunkers at the mid-point. From the tee, hit between the sand traps. Short is better than an over-hit for the second shot, as bunkers crowd the back of the green.
Grab your 7-iron for the 14th. Carry the drink and aim for the middle of the green for the best attempt at a birdie. Don't bottle it with the putting!
A par-4 to finish. Navigate the dogleg right by teeing towards the left of the fairway. If you cover the yardage, the approach should be simple. Hit the pin and put the game to bed.
Clubhouse
After a killer round, refuel like royalty and tuck into some traditional tapas. Not your thing? Don't worry, the clubhouse classics are still available, and you can wash this back with an ice-cold Estrella.
Head out to the decking, top up your tan, discuss the action from the round and prepare the forfeits for the loser. Get creative.Course Facilities
