Top hint for this course

Allow us to give you a tip. On the 8th, the shortest par-3, the hole encourages an attempt to drive onto the green. However, the wind often comes into play and seven bunkers around the greens. We recommend you use your tee-off to set up an easy approach shot instead of aiming directly for the dancefloor.

Full Course Lowdown

St Enodoc is a titan when it comes to loops worldwide. It has deservedly remained in the Top 100 of the World's Courses for years. It's shorter than your average but provides a testing game of links golf. It's a tricky one.

Do you guys consider yourself highly skilled? It's time to walk the walk (or use a buggy) and dominate one of the world's all-time great loops. Pack your best clubs, wear your lucky gloves, and participate in the most testing competition the guys have played yet.

Course

The natural coastal terrain, undulating and hilly fairways mean even the mate who reckons they could've gone pro will be scratching their head. Did we mention the wind? Often, the winds from the Atlantic coast add to the various obstacles, so it's a test of club selection IQ.

From the 1st, the fairways are cruel. Drive to the left of the fairway as the right will find your second shot being taken from the rough. The second shot needs another shot favouring the left of the fairway to avoid sand bunkers that guard the right of the dancefloor.

The end of the front nine demands a scorcher off the tee box. Accuracy is vital though. Giant trees sit behind the green, meaning the weight of your approach shot is important to avoid the hazards. The final hole's hazards are on either side of the fairway. Creating a lay-up, rather than overhitting will create a tactical path, rather than leaving yourself with a tricky approach from behind the green.

Clubhouse

An outstanding 19th hole waits at the end. With a lounge and two outdoor patios, you can get stuck into your favourite snacks and pints with the guys. It's what you deserve after playing one of the world's best. Treat yourself.

Is it a Sunday round? The upstairs area serves a classic carvery dinner. Refuel like a champion after beating your mates out on the South West's best fairway. The balcony overlooks the 18th hole, so you can overlook the moment you won and gather the pints the guys owe you.
