Top hint for this course
Let's give you a tip for the 17th. A par-3 that requires carrying over water to enter the dancefloor. Some might say to play sensible and lay up before the river, but we say otherwise. You're in it to win it, aren't you? The green is large enough to just go straight for it.
Full Course Lowdown
When they're designed by a former European Tour Pro, you know it's going to be a quality loop. Although it's shorter than the Portal Championship Course, it offers unique holes and challenges that make this a stand-out round.
Course
Starting with the 4th, a par-4 with a harsh dogleg left puts the green out of sight. Hit a firm drive centre-right of the fairway and this should set up a sweet approach shot. There are only two bunkers to the right side of the dancefloor, so keeping left will help.
The 11th is a lengthy par-4 with distance being the only obstacle. If you've got a big drive in your locker, you should expect a par at least on this hazardless hole.
This one is tricky. Hole 15 has three bunkers surrounding the dancefloor, so unless accuracy is your strength, we recommend laying up before the bunkers for a chip shot. You won't find yourself in the sand this way.
On the 18th, a slight dogleg left first gets in the way. Once you've cut the angle off, the approach to the generous green is straightforward.
Clubhouse
The 19th hole here is called "The Lounge & Bar" and it's famous for a cosy, casual, and welcoming atmosphere with a wide range of classic pub dishes and draught beers.
With stunning views of the course you conquered, tuck into your favourite meal post-golf and discuss the action with the gang. Treat yourself to some swing oil-you've earned it, champ.

The Location
Located in Tarporley, if you decide to stay elsewhere, the local town has plenty of hotels as well as lively restaurants and bars. Of course, you have a four-star resort to consider.
Chester is the nearest city and it's a hidden gem for small-city nightlife. Just 12.1 miles away, it boasts bouncing nightlife, horse racing, and plenty of pubs, so you can get your swing oil fix after the 19th hole shuts.
