Top hint for this course

We're about to give a secret to get ahead of your friends on the course. At the start of the back nine, a dogleg right hides the green, so favour the left side of the fairway as this will set up a decent view of the green. From here, select your club wisely for a long second shot.

A par would be a great achievement on this difficult par-4.

Full Course Lowdown

Hidden away in the countryside near Bournemouth, this Southern England gem is renowned nationwide as a masterpiece. Many enthusiasts flock down South to give it a crack and we're not surprised (it's one of England's best).

Natural water hazards and carefully placed bunkers present duffers and advanced golfers with a loop that will leave nobody unsatisfied or unchallenged. Round the crew up and book this beauty; it's pretty damn popular.

Course

Opening with an uphill par-4, it takes two great shots to get on the green from the tee box. Further up the fairway, it narrows, making a huge drive an irrational choice. Aim left centre for the best second shot. We can't have you bottling it on the first hole.

The 5th is a favourite because of the many options to complete the hole. You could lay up or if you fancy, hit a scorcher off the tee to dominate the fairway. A slope surrounds the green, so don't overhit. We'll leave the club selection to you.

A tricky par-3 waits at the 11th. Featuring a large body of water to the right of the fairway and rough laying at the front, avoiding these whilst going straight for the green will be tricky, but a great chance for a par.

The final is a par-4 with a dogleg right, so club selection for distance control is vital. Setting up a shot that puts the green in sight will make for a nice approach shot.

Clubhouse

A cosy clubhouse is situated at the end of the course. The relaxing atmosphere and informal approach create the perfect 19th hole to unwind. Golfers from across the UK comment on the memorable service and top-class facilities.

Members are known for bringing along friends and family because it's so impressive. Enjoy the surroundings whilst counting up the scorecards, getting some beers in, and taking a look back at the action from the loop.
