Top hint for this course
On the 15th, a par-5, land between the two bunkers for a decent start. Afterwards, carry the water and land before the final bunker before hitting a sweet approach shot. Easy, right?
Full Course Lowdown
The Brabazon Course needs no intro. It's packed with iconic holes, tournament-hosting history, and plenty of prestigious awards.
Playing host to the Ryder Cup on four occasions, you can follow in the footsteps of legends while battling it out on the fairways.
The US and Europe have tackled this course on many occasions but now it's time to leave your mark. Get the gang together and play your own Ryder Cup.
Course
The 1st is a lengthy par-4 where a central shot is required from the tee. For the second shot cautious players might want to lay up before the dancefloor; the bunkers are a nightmare.
A par-3 on the 7th is a nightmare for those who cannot avoid water. You won't need a big club to carry the lake, so choose wisely and aim for the centre of the green to avoid the bunkers.
At the start of the back nine, this short par-4 features an epic risk-reward shot. Will you carry the 250 yards of water to find the pin? We'll let you decide.
The 16th is another example of Peter Alliss' desire to replicate an American-style course with loads of bunkers. Take on the dogleg and avoid the sand.
Clubhouse
Sam's Clubhouse is top-class.
You could spend a whole afternoon here, from the buzzing atmosphere to the impressive selection of craft beers, wines, cocktails, and scran.
Enjoy the live sports on the massive screens while you sip an ice-cold beer, count the scorecards, and prepare the forfeits for the losers. What a dream.

The Location
After the Brabazon, why not conquer the PGA National Course? It's just a stroll away.
In fact, Birmingham boasts plenty of England's finest fairways. We recommend the Little Aston Course. Why? It's England's 39th-best course and a short 8.8 miles away.
The luxury Belfry Hotel & Resort neighbours the course; it's an absolute breeze sorting accommodation here.
