Full Course Lowdown
Galgorm Course boasts plenty of tournament-hosting experience and awards. Ranked as the 64th best course in Ireland, it's no surprise this course has hosted the Irish Open and 13 Northern Ireland Opens.
At a whopping 7,267 yards, the course is recognised worldwide as one of Ireland's finest parkland courses with various challenges, from water hazards to tree-line fairways.
On-site is the luxurious Galgorm Resort, making this gem ideal for a stay-and-play golf trip on the outskirts of Belfast.
The fairway opens at the start of the back nine. This par-5 tests accuracy and distance, with a river splitting the middle and two bunkers around the green. Approach from the left to avoid an absolute nightmare in the bunkers.
Many consider the 13th the signature hole-but if you don't hack it, a birdie opp is waiting. Clear the two left bunkers with distance and set up a sweet chip shot approach. Simple, right?
Whether it's a steak or an ice-cold beer to celebrate breaking 90, this place is more than ideal.
Refuel after conquering a world-famous course, count the scorecards, and get the drinks in for the evening.
