On the opener, favour the right side of the fairway. Once you've cleared some yardage, the green should be in sight. Aim for the back of the green to avoid contacting either the bunker or the water.

Full Course Lowdown

A treasured course in Turkey by locals and preferred by many golfers who arrive to conquer the fairways. Sitting at over 7,000 yards, with tree-lined fairways and water hazards, the track can appear daunting.

Accuracy from the tee box is vital, and a tactical approach should be considered to navigate the loop. Who will conquer the fairways with ease and who will flunk it? There's only one way to find out.

Course

The 2nd is an awesome par-3. Carry the water, choose your clubs carefully, and avoid the bunker right off the dancefloor. It's best to overhit here to dodge the water, so take an extra club and hit the back of the green.

On the 6th, trees narrow the fairway, so perhaps use a hybrid for accuracy, hit a slight left shot from the tee to avoid the trees and place the dancefloor in reaching distance. We hope there are no lumberjacks in the group; they might struggle here.

For the 9th, a par-5, another harshly narrow fairway tests your drive accuracy. Focus for complete accuracy over distance, or you'll find yourself taking chips of bark out of the trees. Take your time with the approach to the bunker-surrounded green.

The 17th might be the tightest fairway you ever play. Add to this the bunkers and you've got yourself one difficult pin to reach. Aim central to start; carry over the bunkers and navigate around the trees dotted throughout the fairway.

Clubhouse

Time for the best hole, the 19th. A Turkish-inspired, modern clubhouse with an outdoor seating area; enjoy the sublime cuisine and soak up the Mediterranean sun while discussing and laughing about the round.

Count up the scorecards, prepare the forfeits for the loser, and plan the itinerary for the evening ahead.
