Top hint for this course
On the 6th, a large bunker protects the front of the dancefloor. We advise you to take the risk and go straight for the green, rather than laying up, as the green is generous. Hitting the back of the green is the safest bet.
Full Course Lowdown
Spey Valley is one hell of a course. From the whopping length of over 7,000 yards to the sublime quality of the course and picturesque holes, it's a real bucket-lister.
One of the few inland Scottish loops that competes with the famous links dotted around the Scottish coastal areas. Try one of the best in the Highland area for an awesome golf holiday.
Course
The 4th is a real tester of accuracy off the tee. The narrow tree-lined fairway leading to the green will snatch any slices, so focus and choose your club wisely to reach the green. The bunkers threaten to trap any balls that go left or right of the dancefloor.
Towards the end of the front nine, on the 8th, a harsh dogleg left hides the green. You're in the forest here, so lumberjacks must try their hardest to find the fairway. Navigate around the two trees and avoid the bunkers, then you should be fine.
On the 18th, a lengthy par-4 is fairly open in comparison to the other holes. If you want to hit some big swingers, now's your chance. Gain distance down the fairway and avoid the bunker slightly left of the green.
Clubhouse
A luxurious 19th hole. A chic, leather-seated interior with a sublime view over the fairways and live sport is just the spot you deserve after that performance. If you catch warm weather, then order your meal and eat outside al-fresco style and sip some draught beer.
The menu caters to small bites and clubhouse classics for a quick refuel after your round. Bacon rolls for the dawn patrol golfers to paninis and burgers if you're finishing after lunch.
