Here's a tip for the 1st. Aim towards the cluster of bunkers on the right side of the fairway. If you lay up before them, you will have the best approach angle.

Palmares is truly one of Portugal's, and Europe's finest tracks, so take up on this opportunity of a lifetime and tick off this bucket list course with the gang.
Course
Starting with the Alvor Course, a mixture of strategic par-4s and par-5s demands accuracy while navigating the fairways. The star is Hole 3, a picturesque par-3 with an elevated dancefloor. Take an extra club to hit the green.
The next 9-hole is the Lagos Course. Plenty of natural hazards interrupt the fairway here, so bring patience and cautious tactics. Hole 16 is the highlight, with a par-4 that demands a carry over the water to reach the dancefloor.
The final nine, the Praia Course, offers par-4s and 5s with risk-reward scenarios, as well as a picturesque par-3. The par-3 on the 20th is often disrupted by wind; precision is needed to find the green.
Clubhouse
A 19th hole that looks a bit like a millionaire's villa. It was designed by award-winning architects, so it's worth grabbing a seat on the stunning outdoor decking and topping up your tan.
The menu at this place is insane-you won't need to book a fancy restaurant for the evening-the fine dining at this clubhouse will kill that craving.
