Top hint for this course

The 2nd hole, a par-3, is a classic risk-reward shot. We advise carrying over the water and hitting the back of the green, as this will avoid the bunkers. Taking the cautious route to navigate the fairway will add to the scorecard.

Full Course Lowdown

A unique desert golf adventure. Experience the style of lavish UAE golf and the alternative challenges the sandy terrain provides compared to your typical parkland or heathland course.

The water hazards stand out, with the depth of water varying with the tide. Depending on when you play, you could be hitting the water or attempting to clear out of a wet bunker-prepare for both possibilities on this awesome loop.

Course

A 419-yard opening hole eases you in. Strike a firm drive down the middle to avoid the bunkers on either side of the fairway before hitting a straightforward approach to the dancefloor.

We hope you can clear the water. The 3rd requires an accurate tee-off to land on the fairway; anything wayward will hit the bunkers. From here, favour the left side of the green. Anything too far left will hit the water.

Prepare to open your shoulders and justify the price of your driver. Hole 11 is a 535-yard par-5, with few hazards, so you can favour a big hit off the tee box and prepare for a possible birdie.

A 167-yard par-3 waits at the 15th. The pin is well-guarded with bunkers and will test even the best golfers. Aim straight for the pin, but if you don't fancy your chances, aim right of the bunkers for an easy approach.

Clubhouse

Forget your traditional cosy clubhouse with simple quick bites on the menu; you're in the UAE now. This Japanese-centred 19th produces some of the finest sushi and sashimi around, and let's be honest, you deserve some top scran after an elite performance.

The Location

Situated on the waterfront in Ajman, this course is easily accessible from the hundreds of hotels in the local area. Dubai International Airport is 33.2km from Ajman, so getting to the course once you land is a breeze.

Ajman is a cracking alternative to Dubai; it's less pricey but offers almost as many top-tier restaurants and awesome nightlife locations.

As the city is less touristy than Dubai, you're far less likely to have a chaotic round of golf or endure huge crowds when you explore.
