Why Book Wales for a Golf Holiday

Since the Celtic Manor "The Twenty Ten" course hosted the 2010 Ryder Cup, where Graeme McDowell secured the winning point in the final match, Wales has increased in popularity for golf holidays.

While this certainly helped, Wales is home to many five-star golfing resorts, so we're not surprised about its surge in popularity. Many players head to Cardiff or Newport to experience world-class golf and outstanding nightlife.

The Wales Golf Experience

All handicaps are welcome, so all the group can participate. From links to championship courses, you're bound to experience challenging rounds that will live long in your memory.

From countryside to coastal gems, taking a tour of Wales should be near the top of your bucket list. It wouldn't be complete if you didn't check out the Twenty Ten course. Otherwise, there are many to choose from. We'll leave that to your expert knowledge.

Best Places for a Wales Golf Holiday

While we would recommend Newport or Cardiff for world-class golf and jam-packed itineraries, anywhere along the coast has many underrated and hidden gems that are dying to be checked out. It's a hotspot for links lovers and these areas are a little more secluded, so less likely to be busy on the fairways.

It's a great place for a group golf holiday because of the many courses on offer. From coastal to inland and parkland courses, Wales is home to around 143 different courses. You're never too far away from a championship round in Wales.
